Fiesta de amor is dedicated to Fallas. The origin of las Fallas comes from the old carpenter’s tradition who, when celebrating the arrival of spring on 19th March, used to burn pieces of wood that were used to prop up their lights during the winter.
 
Today Fallas is the most important festival in Valencia that takes place throughout the whole of March. Its a festival of colours and love, in which of the communities are welcoming the lights and warmth of the spring to come. Fallas attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world to witness the parties and fire works all around the City.
